  5. MASSTART
    Massachusetts Technology Assistance Resource Team (MASSTART) is a free program that provides consultation services for children with special health needs who are in school. MASSTART helps children who use medical technology (like a feeding tube, oxygen, ventilator, etc.) to safely attend school.

  6. MEDICAL-LEGAL PARTNERSHIP FOR CHILDREN
    The Medical-Legal Partnership for Children allies pediatric clinicians with lawyers to ensure that families can meet their children’s basic needs. MLPC (formerly known as the Family Advocacy Program) combines the strengths of law and medicine to address non-biologic factors (food, housing, education, and safety) known to influence child health.

    Founded at Boston Medical Center and the Boston University School of Medicine in 1993, during the last five years MLPC has helped to spread its model to over 60 sites across the country. We are eager to share our experiences; we support new partnerships by providing funding and technical assistance.Go to site »
