  5. EPILEPSY OUTREACH PHONE LINE
    Boston Medical Center Pediatric Neruology has created a telephone line in order to help promote community awareness, education and advocacy for children and their families in coping with seizures and or epilepsy. The target audience includes children who have had one or more seizures or epilepsy and their daycare and school personnel, primary care providers, parents and relatives.

    We understand that families, school personnel, and affected children may have many questions about epilepsy and seizure evaluations, management, and medication treatments, as well as about the social, educational, and emotional impact of having seizures or epilepsy. If you have a question, please call. We're here to help. Our hours are Monday – Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM.

  9. MY EPILEPSY DIARY: FOR SEIZURE MANAGEMENT

    By creating a My Epilepsy Diary profile you can track whenever you experience a seizure, side effect, mood change, or other personal event related to your epilepsy.

    You can also track all your medications and dosages, even for non-epilepsy medications and vitamins. You can even set up email or text reminders to take your medications!

    The program also let you print out a report to take your doctor a complete, organized, and easy-to-read record of your recent epilepsy history, as well as long-term trends that show how effective your treatment has been and whether it may need to be changed.
